I was walking with the dog and daughter later than normal one evening along Gardiner’s Creek trail when I was struck by the magnificence of the sunset. We kept walking and saw the stars come out.
We were not far from what I had picked on previous visits to the place as a potential site for another cache, and so coming upon the site, I was thinking of an old poem I’d read quite some time ago:
Starlight, star bright
First star I see tonight
I wish I may
I wish I might
Have the wish I wish tonight.
So, if you are here close to when the first stars appear, I hope you’ll get your wish – especially if your wish is to find this cache (!). But if you are doing it by starlight, a good strong torch is highly recommended.
BYO pen, the container is the size of a medium sized plum (not apple). Please replace it in the upright position together with its 'camo' after signing it. Thanks.
Parking can be found on Harlequin Drive.
