As young budding drone pilots, we (MustangKaren and I) ventured to this spot to test our skills. This park is the farrest land owned by UP City and is a little known park even by local residents. Great place to walk the mutt and explore the area. Also a good place to fly without others around. We did.....Little know fact about own drone (Crashy), when his batteries are low he automaticaly returns to home "Base" which is the place we launched he from! Unfortunantly, we were half way up the hill and he proceed to return down below. Good News/Bad News. Bad news: trees were in the way and Crashy became captive of a marginaly climbable "v" tree. Good news: As PitonMan, I climb. MustangKaren doubted the tree was climable.....So did I. However, Crashy, being a purebreed drone and costing around a thousand dollars, knew Mom and Dad were on the way!
The Crash Site is our first Major Crash.....without hitting the ground. Things we learned: Dad can still climb; Mom cannot catch and Crashy can bounce.
This cache is placed at the base of that tree only a few feet off of the trail. Tree Climbing Skills not needed to retrieve! (nor catching skills)
