Trimble House
James S. Trimble House, located at 187 Iberia Street in Mount Gilead, Ohio, United States. The largest house in Mount Gilead. Built in 1853 and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. It was a station on the Underground Railroad.
Mount Gilead Businessman, James Trimble hired William Miller, a local builder, to construct a mansion on Iberia Street in 1853. This early Italianate structure has been Mount Gilead's most impressive dwelling ever since. After Trimble's business failed in 1878, the Levering family acquired the mansion.
There is no street parking, but farther south is a business parking lot. This geocache is a pill bottle. Please return and camouflage it as you found it. Many muggles walk past here daily. There is room for small swag, but no pen. There is a FTF compass rose coin enclosed. Cache is hidden with the permission of the property owner. Congratulations to mgffa10 for FTF.
