🇺🇸 Piano Shop 🎹
Three shops were located one by one in the second microdistrict of Pripyat. There were the alcohol shop, the furniture shop and the household shop. Today it is possible to find remains of many pianos in one of them. Most of visitors decided that these pianos were sold there but most likely they were stored after the evacuation. In the summer of 1986 Pripyat inhabitants were allowed to return to the town for taking their belongings but all furniture must be left in apartments. Some items were taken for needs of liquidators and stored inside buildings of former shops and all another things were buried at special burial sites. Probably, pianos were removed from apartments as valuable but left in that shop forever.

Три магазини було розташовано один за одним у другому мікрорайоні міста Прип'ять. Це були магазини зі спиртними напоями, меблями та продтоварами. Сьогодні можна знайти рештки багатьох піаніно у одному з них. Багато відвідувачів Зони вважає, що ці піаніно продавалися, але найбільш вірогідно, що їх було збережено після евакуації. Влітку 1986 року мешканцям Прип'яті дозволили повернутися в місто за речами, але усі меблі повинні були залишатися у квартирах. Деякі речі було узято на потреби ліквідаторів і вони й досі зберігаються у приміщеннях колишніх магазинів. Усе інше було заховано у спеціальних могильниках. Ймовірно, що піаніно були вилучені з квартир у якості цінних речей, проте вони залишились у магазині назавжди.
