🇺🇸 Greenhouses 🏞️
A greenhouse farm was located on the north border of Pripyat. It was a modern and hi-tech household, and all greenhouses were controlled by a computer. Even microclimate was regulated automatically. After the accident greenhouses were recovered and all of them were used for scientific purposes. But as the computer was destroyed, therefore glasshouses were operated manually. Scholars studied the ionizing radiation effect on plants and tested how to grow clean vegetables in the contaminated environment. In 1990s good yields of cucumbers were received there. But at the beginning of the 21 century the financing of these researches was canceled and the greenhouse farm was left behind.

Тепличне господарство розташоване на північному кордоні м. Прип'ять. Це була сучасна і високотехнологічна будівля, всі теплиці котрої контролювалися комп'ютером. Навіть мікроклімат, який там підтримувався, регулювався автоматично. Після аварії усі теплиці було відновлено і вони використовувались в наукових цілях. Але, оскільки комп'ютер було зруйновано, теплиці обслуговувалися вручну. Вчені вивчали вплив іонізуючого випромінювання на рослини та пробували вирощувати чисті овочі в умовах забруднення. У 1990-х роках тут було отримано гарний врожай огірків. Але на початку ХХІ сторіччя фінансування досліджень було скасовано, а тепличне господарство покинули.
