THE CACHE IS NOT AT THE POSTED COORDINATES!
I was not quite sure how to categorize this cache. Since the container is not at the listed coordinates it can't be listed as a traditional, but it's not what I think of as a multi, or a mystery, or a Wherigo either. That all being said, with the help of the Reviewer I finally settled on listing it as a multi, though the the actual location is very close to the posted coordinates. So if you need a relatively easy multi cache, this is it!
At the posted coordinates you will find an information plaque that points to various mountains in the distant Alaska Range (on a clear day, you may be able to see them). From the plaque, walk directly toward Denali (it’s labeled as a different name on the plaque) approximately 30 feet, the cache is hidden somewhere directly in front of you. Gloves and long sleeves might be helpful in your search.
This cache replaces a cache that was hidden nearby but kept disappearing, so the CO graciously let me adopt the location since I work nearby. I'm hoping this cache will stick around longer. This can be a busy little park, so stealth will typically be required; if there are too many people around, please consider looking for the cache another time. But, be sure to enjoy the view!
