I chose this place to honor the memory of my son Chris, who passed away in 2008. He used to cross through this area as a short cut to get home before it was part of the heritage trail. He would have loved the way it has been improved. It is an awesome partially paved, newly renovated trail connecting Carbondale to Simpson. .
