Mount Barker is currently experiencing an expansion, where it will house another 30,000 people. Two ovals will be built along with tennis courts, 5 new schools etc. Witness the view of what will soon be housing estates. As of now, the hills are green with trees spread out across the land. A lot of people are not happy with the change, and what was once a small farm town will soon be a small city.
