The monthly GIG events have been going on for many years (long before I was geocaching). It was the first regular event I attended upon returning from Arizona as a new geocacher. People were very kind and welcoming to me at this event. There has recently been a plea for "new blood" to help with the hosting of these events. I stepped forward and offered to take this month of June. I live in Brown County so to get a location closer to Indianapolis I decided on Plainfield because I have been traveling through this area frequently to help my husband take care of the details of my mother-in-law in Brownsburg. This looked like an easy location to get to off of I-70.
Also, a geo friend has been having health issues and this is close to her home, so I am hoping she will be able to attend.
I have reserved the patio area from 6pm to 8pm. Geo dogs are welcome.
