Mardle at The Mardle 2
 

Welcome to a small series taking you on a walk through Ilketshall St Andrew, starting at The Mardle. The route is about 3km and should take no longer than 1 1/2 hours. Note - there is a section which takes in a farmer's field with cows - Care is required!

A Mardle is a traditional pond or gathering place with which to talk and rest.  It is also the name given to the monthly Geocaching meets for Norfolk and Suffolk. Placed to coincide with the annual camping Mardle event in nearby Brampton.
 

From the cache head back towards the community centre and along School Road towards Great Common Lane
