Welcome everyone to mmmYORK, the eighth event hosted by mmmPIZZA. Where exactly did mmmEVENTS come from you ask? This event series all started in Paphos, Cyprus. Myself (Alexander) and ChloeTheBrummie (Chloe) hosted an event to meet new people and to see how hosting our own event would pan out. Unexpectedly, it was a success. Around seven geocachers (15 people altogether) turned up for coffee and a chat. We all signed the Starbucks Napkin and the rest is history.
The success of mmmCYPRUS has led me to finally start doing more of my own events. At these events, we aim to bring geocachers together. The Geocaching Community is a strong and close one. I've always enjoyed meeting other cachers and hearing their stories. Hopefully at these events, we can hear many more stories and swap/discover many trackables. Happy Caching! - Alexander
About The Event
The event will be held on the 5th August 2018 at the Wetherspoons Postern Gate Pubin York. The event will start at 12PM (12:00) and finish at 2PM (14:00). However, people are more than welcome to stay longer than 14:00 if they so wish. Please note that transportation may be limited in the area due to the York 10K event going on earlier in the morning.
