Geocache Description:

Mardle at The Mardle 6

Welcome to a small series taking you on a walk through Ilketshall St Andrew, starting at The Mardle. The route is about 3km and should take no longer than 1 1/2 hours. Note - there is a section from Number 4 to 5 which takes in a farmer's field with cows - Care is required!

A Mardle is a traditional pond or gathering place with which to talk and rest.  It is also the name given to the monthly Geocaching meets for Norfolk and Suffolk. Placed to coincide with the annual camping Mardle event in nearby Brampton.

From the back of the house you continue along the path and edge of field curving to the right, then there is a small wooden bridge to allow you to continue South towards number 7.
