Geocache Description:

This is my first attempt at an electronic gadget cache.  As the name implies, YOU WILL NEED 4 AA BATTERIES TO ACCESS THIS CACHE!

The padlock combination is MAK75. Last year I bought an arduino starter kit with a project book and all the components needed to do the projects. After doing most of the projects in the book with the junior member of Macandcheese I decided to use my new found knowledge and try to build a smart cache. This cache cost significantly more time and money than a simple peanut butter jar so please treat it with love and kindness.

Upon successful completion, the log will be dispensed from the bottom of the cache.  Gently replace it, cap side up after signing the log.

Please respect the environment and don't leave batteries for the next guy, odds are they'll eventually end up in the nearby creek.

This cache has been placed on church property with permission of Pastor Dave Adams.

Thanks to djwhouse and WVTim for designing the log release mechanism and sharing the design with the rest of us.

Have fun and happy caching!
