Most of the buildings you will see on your way to this cache were here when John Jay owned this property, although some were modified when the farm was passed along to later generations of Jays. Not far from the cache is an ice pond that was developed by damming Spruce Brook some time before 1859. There are informational signs scattered around the property. For more information, stop in at the Visitor’s Center, housed in John Jay’s original carriage barn.

You are looking for a small Lock ‘n’ Lock hidden in a standard way. Just check for curious muggles when retrieving and returning the container.
This cache is placed for your enjoyment during the Taconic Region Summer Geocaching Challenge, but is not one of the special challenge caches.
