DAKE ONSEN / 岳温泉
Dake Onsen (Dake Hot Springs) was discovered in the 9th century. The first spa town was built just below the top of Mt. Tetsuzan. But the town was destroyed in 1824 by the debris flow. Then the second spa town was built at Jumonji , some kilometers east of the former town and this town continued until 1867 of the Boshin War. In 1870, the third spa town was built at Fukabori and this town continued until 1903 when the fire burned down this town.
The fourth spa town was built in 1906 at the present place. The hot spring water flows 8 kilometers from the source by pipeline. Enjoy acidic hot spring water and beautiful scenery around Dake Onsen.
岳温泉は、９世紀ごろに発見されたと考えられます。最初の温泉施設は、鉄山の山頂直下に建設され、温泉街が発達しました。しかし、１８２４年の山津波で全壊し、現在の塩沢温泉の東の十文字に再建されました。戊辰戦争時の１８６７年に閉鎖され。１８７０年に深堀地区に再建されました。しかし、この温泉街も１９０３年の大火で消失し、１９０６年に現在の地に温泉街が作られ、現在に至っています。岳温泉は、湯元から８km引湯され温泉街にたどり着いています。
単純酸性泉の温泉と風光明媚な自然の風景をお楽しみください。
