Jakkie Bouer: Sniper - The South African Connection.


The first crack at solving this case went horribly wrong. As some of the first amateur sleuths on the case have realised the spot that was indicated as where the shot was taken from could not possibly be correct. Instead of dwelling on all the things that led to that situation we asked Jakkie Bouer to give us some basic guidelines on how to approach any case. This is what he said:

The first thing is to look at the scene and get a broad perspective of things around you.
Secondly you need to inspect anything that draws your attention.
Thirdly you need to walk the scene. Evidence is not going to jump in your lap.
And lastly you need to talk to anyone on the scene.

As part of the earlier investigation several persons of interest have been identified. One of them is possibly hiding in a flat in a seedy part of town. It is your task to gather information to help solve this case.
