This is our first geocache and is placed in a location on one of our favourite walks following the River Ogwen.
The geocache is placed in a location that looks very much like the tree that imprisoned Hexxus in the animated film Fern Gully.
If you find this cache, please place back in location and cover with dead leaves etc, there is an abundance around.
When starting this walk at either end of suggested start points, keep near the river and you can't go too far wrong from the path. Please note if you're starting or finishing at the bridge end you'll need wellies, or don't mind getting a little wet, as a little walkway bridge (not main bridge in waypoint) has been washed away by floods, but the bridge didn't cross the main river, just a little side diversion.
