This cache is hidden along a nice quiet inlet off the Detroit River. You will need a watercraft or boat to reach this spot as there is no land access to this island which is surrounded by a marsh on one side, and private land on the other. It is possible to hike to this spot in winter as we have done it in the past but the majority of the year you will need a canoe, kayak or powerboat.
The cache is a micro container attached to a branch hanging out over the water. It was placed using a kayak.
Watch for wildlife including ducks, swans and herons. This is not a spot for hunters as there are homes located on the opposite side of the inlet.
