What??? No caches at AsiaWorld Expo??? Well, now those who are forced to come all the way out here for whatever reason (like me today) can come grab an easy cache during your lunch break!
Opened the same year that I moved to Hong Kong for the cost of a cool HKD$2.35 billion dollars (that's USD how much???) I remember lots of complaints about it from the very beginning and some are justified - for example, the acoustics are terrible for concerts and seating arrangements can be unpleasant for anyone over 175cm, etc. But as a convention center, the AsiaWorld Expo shines.
Over the years, I have been here more times than I can count - many concerts (I never learn my lesson that the sound system stinks), university graduations, conventions, Disney on Ice shows (my wife is involved so....) and activities like today, the 20th anniversary S.K.H. schools' celebration. What brings you here today?
The GZ is easy to find, even with jumpy GPS. Go out the East exit and around the right side corner to just BEFORE the Lantau Taxi stand. You will NOT be seen by that CCTV on the other side of the corner. Please return the cache to the same position and be aware of other pedestians (if there are any!)
