Looking for the a reason to have an event? How about that my daughter, MonsterMonkey17, has a birthday.  No, the teenager won't be attending, but it gives me something to celebrate.  It gives us a reason to gather.  Here's another, in 1958 "Purple People Eater" by Sheb Wooley hits #1. Or on this day in 1979 the Phillies wear burgundy uniforms for 1st and last time.  What ever the reason we should get together.  Come join me at Shoomama's from 8-9 am for breakfast and geocaching conversations.   Order at the counter and come join the event in the back room
