The Brežice accumulation lake is similar to the surface of Ptuj Lake on Drava river. It could arrange a two-kilometer rowing course in calm waters, while in Brežice, when designing a new kayak center and boathouse and recreation center Vrbina, they count on the help of such associations and associations.

As part of the construction of HPP Brežice, a reservoir was built that stretched from the power plant towards Krško. It should contain about 20 million cubic meters of water, which is comparable to the amount of water in Lake Bled, and its surface should consist of ??? hectares.

Kaj projekt Vodnega parka zajema?

V sklopu Vodnega centra Brežice se naj bi izvedli naslednji objekti oziroma ureditve:

1. Kajakaška proga s pripadajočimi elementi
2. Objekt za podporo vodnemu centru velikosti cca 500 m2
3. Postajališče za avtodome (cca 30 avtodomov)
4. Ureditev naravne vodne površine, ki je sonaravno umeščeno v prostor in omogoča postavitev »WAEKEPARKA« za deskanje na vodi.
5. Ustrezna zunanja ureditev celotnega območja (sonaravna ureditev tribun, pešpoti, postavitve za počitek sprehajalcev, obiskovalcev, igrala, fitnes na prostem,…) vključno s postavitvijo potrebnih ograj.

Ustrezne zunanje ureditve Vodnega centra bodo omogočale tako občanom, kakor tudi turistom rekreativne in sprostitvene dejavnosti ob vodnih ekosistemih. V ta namen bo celotno območje urejeno s sprehajalnimi stezami z območji za počitek, igrali za otroke, fitnes napravami na prostem ter postavitev potrebnih ograj. Na atraktivnih mestih se bodo ob peš poteh uredila postavitve za počitek sprehajalcev. V sklopu zunanje ureditve se predvidi ureditev fitnesa na prostem. Fitnes naj bi obsegal urejen prostor z cca 10 napravami.

Objekt za podporo vodnemu centru bo pritličen objekt deloma dvoetažen velikosti cca 400-500 m2 neto tlorisne površine. Iz objekta za podporo vodnemu centru bo zagotovljen primeren dostope do kajak steze. V sklopu objekta za podporo vodnemu centru je predviden gostinski obrat z možnostjo razdeljevanja hrane.

For this purpose, the entire area will be covered with walking trails with rest areas, children's playgrounds, outdoor fitness equipment and the installation of the necessary fences. In attractive places along the footpaths will be arranged layouts for the rest of the walkers. Under the external arrangement, the arrangement of the outdoor fitness room is foreseen. Fitness should include an arranged room with about 10 devices.

The facility for the support of the water center will be a low-rise building partly two-storey with the size of approximately 400-500 m2 of net floor area.
