Star Trek first aired over 50 years ago. Created by Gene Roddenberry in 1964, the franchise has spawned numerous television series, films, comics, novels, games, and fan fiction...and now there's a Trek-themed GeoArt series in the Mount Baker-Snoqualmie National Forest.

Bajoran Orbs were artifacts that, according to Bajoran legend, were sent by the Prophets to provide guidance and wisdom. There were ten orbs in the Star Trek canon, although only half were named in canonical works: Orb of Contemplation, Orb of Prophecy and Change, Orb of Time, Orb of Wisdom, and Orb of the Emissary.

The intense hallucinations the Orbs produced in some individuals were believed to be communications from the Prophets. The orbs below are not a hallucination. They hold a message that will guide you to an 11th orb - Orb of Caching.
