Star Trek first aired over 50 years ago. Created by Gene Roddenberry in 1964, the franchise has spawned numerous television series, films, comics, novels, games, and fan fiction...and now there's a Trek-themed GeoArt series in the Mount Baker-Snoqualmie National Forest.

One of the many things Star Trek was known for was the futuristic technology it depicted. There were warp drives, cloaking devices, transporters, holodecks, tricorders, hyposprays, bionic eyes, universal translators, communicators, powerful handheld computers, and voice-responsive computers. Some of that tech has become reality years after appearing in Star Trek. Especially impressive are the devices from The Original Series that aired decades before personal computers, or even cellphones, were available.

Test your knowledge of Star Trek technology, then use some of those futuristic devices to find this cache at: N 47 AB.CDE W 121 VW.XYZ
