This cache is near the old Lyon Manor Truck Trail. Named after the town of Lyon Manor which is about 2 miles northeast of here on Higgins Lake. Not a formal town today but some signs along the road do point to it. It was founded by Charles Lyon who opened a hotel on the lake in the 1890's. He also subdivided his large tract of land which led to the building of many cottages in that area. This township was also named in honor of Charles.
The cache is not far off a two track trail which is typically in good condition. There is a prize inside for the first to find
We have spotted a bear in this area not too long ago so keep an eye out.
