Geocache Description:


The cache is a lock-and-lock hidden off the Clove Creek trail. The closest trailheads are the Charcoal Burners trail where it crosses route 301: take the Charcoal Burners trail north to the blue-marked Fahnestock trail west to the Clove Creek trail, or the parking on East Mountain Rd for which the parking and trailhead coordinates are provided and where you will find the terminus of the Clove Creek trail. This cache is not part of the 2018 Taconic Region Geocaching Challenge. It has been placed for your geocaching pleasure. Enjoy!!! Clarence Fahnstock SP charges a $7 vehicle entrance fee. This fee is collected 5/26-6/24 weekends and holidays, and 6/25-9/3 daily.
