2018 World Wide Flash Mob
This was supposed to be on Saturday, 9th June at 7:00pm, but in true Panthera03 style of forgetfulness, I missed the required deadline. So it will have to be on Sunday morning instead. Oh well, at least I managed to get it done during the same weekend!
Let's have some weird fun and then pop round a nearby eatery for a quick cuppa and catch up on the news.
At precisely 09h00, we must all be outside the Woolworths entrance of Cedar Square Shopping Centre. Everyone needs to be wearing a hat - any hat. Cachers need to form separate groups, as per family units or group of friends of 2s and 3s. We need to be engaging in active searching of the immediate vicinity for a geocache. GPS or Smartphone needs to be in hand and we need to pretend to be looking for that "elusive" geocache. At exactly 09h05 (5 minutes after being busy), a signal will be given and everyone participating in this craziness, needs to FREEZE in the position that they were in .... for another 2 minutes. After 2 minutes has passed, another signal will be given, and everyone needs to clap their hands and cheer quietly for a further 30 seconds. Then suddenly, disperse as if nothing has happened.
Date: Sunday, 10 June
Time: 09h00 to 09h30
Place: Cedar Square Shopping Centre - Outside Woolworths
Hope to see you there!
A flashmob (or a flash mob) is a group of people who assemble suddenly in a public place, perform an unusual and sometimes seemingly pointless act for a brief time, then disperse, often for the purposes of entertainment and/or satire. [Source: Wikipedia]
