The cache is placed at the entrance for parking for the beginning of many of a Sooke Hills hike. After parking in the lot just before the gate, amble on through the gate; past the Sooke salmon Society and their very fine cedar building, under the impressive Charter's Creek trestle and start chugging up the hill. There are many caches to find in this area and the trails and all their various loops and connections seems endless....
