This cache is situated on Murphys Road Memorial Walk, which was founded by the Wommin Bay Nursing Home and Tweed Shire Council in 1994 to initially provide a way for nursing home residents to be able to get to the beach and to view the ocean.
It was later designed as a memorial walk to remember Australians at war and pay homage to them.
I have moved the cache closer to the road but please continue on up to the boardwalk for beautiful ocean views and photo opportunities.
