Geocache Description:

The Last Resort ?

This is a 2 stage multi-cache so the actual cache is not at the posted coords.

And you can see them there on Sunday morning
Stand up and sing about what it's like up there
They call it paradise, I don't know why
You call some place paradise, kiss it goodbye

From The Last Resort by The Eagles

Rehoboth Beach is a city on the Atlantic Ocean along the Delaware beaches in eastern Sussex County. As of the 2010 US Census, the population was 1,327. Along with the neighboring coastal cities of Lewes and Dewey Beach, Rehoboth Beach is one of the principal cities of Delaware's rapidly growing Cape Region.

The city was originally founded in 1873 as a camp meeting ground and seaside resort. It was incorporated in 1891 as Cape Henlopen City and then renamed to Rehoboth Beach two years later. While the year-round population may be 1,327, the resort city can have upwards of 40,000 in it on a summer day. Rehoboth Beach gained the nickname, "The Nation's Summer Capital" because of the reputation it has for vacationers coming from Washington, D.C. It is now a popular resort destination for visitors from Virginia, Maryland, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Ohio, and New York.

The City of Rehoboth Beach which is 1.6 square miles, has a mile-long boardwalk along the ocean with restaurants, shops, amusements, and attractions. It was originally built in 1873 and has been rebuilt several times due to storms.

This cache is placed in tribute to the City of Rehoboth Beach with the hope that it does not become "The Last Resort."
