Late May at a switchback on Pine Mountain Road the Wild Irises were blooming in profusion. The point offers a slightly obstructed view of the mounts to the north and there appears to be a large boulder just down the slope people have scrambled to the top of - I don't recommend that as I'd prefer nobody ride that down the ridge when it decides it's time for rock and roll. Scattered among the irises were Pussy Ears, which I had not seen anywhere before.
