The tail of the whale
Cola de la ballena
This sculpture of Miguel A. Ruano and Emilio Mosquera, placed in 2001, represents a whale's tail. You can see it when you go to the urbanization of Arguineguín. It represents the surface of the sea. The sculpture is located in the center of a pond that occupies a good part of the roundabout and serves as a fountain, with water falling from the top of the tail.
I always loved this piece of art and decided to highlight it by placing this cache.
