Forgotten Highways - Albert Drive Subway Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

Balayang: As there's been no cache to find for a long time, and it appears to have been abandoned, I'm archiving it to keep it from showing up in search lists, and to prevent it from blocking other cache placements.

Please note that if geocaches are archived by a reviewer or Geocaching HQ for lack of maintenance, they are not eligible for unarchival.

Geocache Description:

This cache has been placed just north of the Warrell Creek township, a 2km deviation including new bridges over the North Coast Railway, Rosewood Creek and Crouches Creek was completed in December 1987. The old highway route, now a local road known as Albert Drive, was flood-prone and had a bad accident history. The old highway also crossed the North Coast Railway at a subway with very tightly-angled approaches.

Cache is a small natural looking container against something vertical.

Hope you enjoy some of the scenery on this trail.
