Geocache Description:

Loging Etiquette - Sending postcards during holidays was quitessential few years ago, but nowadays, as we all have digital cameras and smartphones, mailing real stuff is getting lost little by little. This cache, aims to resucitate that beautiful tradition. So when you come to log the find bring along a postcard with your address and with the stamp necessary to be sent to your place but WITHOUT a TEXT. The postcard will be ready for another geocacher to write you some lines and send it by mail. When you find the cache, leave your postcard, write some lines in the postcard that another geocacher has left before and send it by mail. When another geocacher finds this cache, it will send you yours. Although I believe that the uniques of this cache is to send postcards, leaving a postcard is completely optional and you can register the cache normally once it is found.

WOLLAHRA Traffic Signal Box Project

Walking around the beautiful streets of Sydney has a new incentive, as every year new cute and fascinating pieces of art pops here and there to embellish the corners of the eastern neighborhoods.

The Traffic Signal Box Project have involved artists creating designs and then painting them on nominated Traffic Signal Boxes within the Woollahra Municipality. The project is offering many positive outcomes including the development of attractive, vibrant places that reflect the culture of the area and engage the community with the public environment.

LINK to the Website of the project. It is quite funny to see that in the video you can actually see another cache hidden in another of this iconinc local landmarks. Follow that link for another great hide: GC3XB4Y

On the waypoints I have located many of the other Traffic Signal Boxes, for a nice stroll around town to find as many as possible: It will be great if you can upload your favorite designes along with your log.
