Butler Area Cachers Of Note (BACON) has teamed up with the Armstrong Rails to Trails Association (ARTA) to help maintain and improve this great resource for all to enjoy. In addition to adopting two miles of trail (54 & 59) we also volunteer for trail work days, host CITO's throughout the year, and help out at events like "Fun on the Armstrong Trail" which coincides with National Trails Day. We are hoping to promote Geocaching, hiking, and cycling through stewardship, volunteering, and the placement of caches along the trail. We also hope to inspire other cachers and caching groups locally and globally to get involved with civic organizations and programs that showcase what the Geocaching Community has to offer. Hope you enjoy your time on the trail.
This cache is on the boundary of the State Game Lands and the ARTA right of way. While Blaze Orange clothing is not required in this area, always be observant of your surroundings and be aware that hunting is permitted in any area more than 250 feet off of the right of way.
