This is my first cache that I have put out. My parents were married at the little red church nearby on Boxing Day. The church's first service was on July 24, 1932 and is the site of the local food bank. If you are coming to the cache and want to do a good deed, please bring a food tin to the food bank inside the red church. The cache site is by Crippen Park with walking or biking trails. The cache container is a peanut butter jar with FTF prize of several quarters. The initial contents of the cache are kids toys including a red guitar and white plastic rabbit, pins including a bc parks pin, crystal pool pin, green deer pin etc. I have made this a Travel Bug Hotel as there does not seem to be one on Bowen Island. The cache will fit travel bugs and geocoins. Other geocaches on the island are mostly small or micros. To drive here from the ferry it would take 5 mins, to bike here it would take 10-15 mins. Congrats Hughling and Sailaboat for being FTF.
