If you come across any new geocachers in the Bakersfield area let them know about this event. It would be good to make the newcomers feel welcome and become a part of the group. This date is picked to celebrate an amazing achievement by our own Pablo06199 who has a continues find streak (if hes able to keep it going until this point) of one full year. What really makes it special is the streak started the day he began geocaching. Talk about getting the bug quickly. Have some pizza, a cold beverage, and swap some stories with fellow geocachers. Be sure to congratulate Pablo as well. Hope to see you there.
Come one come all to the Kern County geocachers meet n greet. Join forces with fellow geocachers and have some fellowship about the amazing game that certainly has enhanced my life, and likely many others. After all, as many of us may understand, its not about finding treasure, its about having an experience, an experience with fellows of similar mind. Bring you trackable's, along with some good geocaching stories. Event starting time is 6:00 PM until 7:00 PM, or whenever we feel like going home. If your nervous about attending your first event, please give it a shot and get to know us, the fellowship is the keystone of the geocaching experience.
