The Cannon Mess was a widely listened to radio program that ran for 26 years in the metro area. The "lLil Cannons were Morgan Mundane, Ma Linger and Backlash Larue. The program started and ended with the "The Barking Dogs of Eveleth." The Cannon Mess was a widely listened to radio program that ran for 26 years in the metro area. Many times Steve would lovingly refer to his wife as Nanook of the Norge.
