Geocache Description:


Red Strand is a small beach located in a horseshoe bay near Rosscarbery in County Cork. It is quite popular for surfing and has reasonably consistent surf all year round. 


The beach is accessible from the roadside, however there is no wheelchair access here and no designated car park. There are however a few spaces on the roadside where visitors can park.

Red Strand beach has been awarded the Green Coast Award for 2017​
