To solve the Aleatory Conundrum you will use self-chosen numbers to generate a brand-new set of coordinates. That's right, you will be in charge of your own destiny! However, to make things a little more interesting, some basic math will be added to the mix. Nothing too complicated of course, just a little something to slow you down.
The challenge
The given coordinates will bring you reasonably close to the actual cache location but are of course completely bogus! To get where you need to be, you will need to fill in the blanks using your results;
N 03° 0A.BC0 E 101° 4D.EF5
A
• Choose a random number between 1 and 10.
• Multiply your number by 2.
• Multiply the new number by 5.
• Divide your current number by your original random number.
• Subtract 1 from your current number.
= A
BC
• Choose a random number between 1 and 10.
• Multiply your number by 9.
• If you have a double-digit result, add the first and second digit together.
• Add the 2nd and 7th prime numbers to the new number.
= BC.
DEF
• Choose a random number.
• Multiply your number by 2.
• Add 25% of 16x151.
• Divide the new number by 2.
• Subtract your original number from the equation.
= DEF
