Glen Road Pedestrian Bridge was constructed in 1973. It replaced an older motorist bridge that dated back to 1929. Records show there has been a bridge at this location as early as 1884! It is also known as the Morley Callaghan footbridge. You can read more about this famous Toronto author at the posted coordinates.
To find the Letterbox: After you have used your GPS to navigate to the posted coordinates, read the historical plaque. With how many loved ones did Morley cross the bridge with before he crossed alone? Walk south on the bridge until you reach this number of lamp posts on the EAST side of the bridge (e.g. if he walked with 4 loved ones, you would walk to the 4th lamp post on the east side, ignoring any on the west side in your count). The micro-letterbox will be right there.
Please note: In order to use the stamp in this micro-letterbox, you will need tweezers to extract the stamp, as well as your own ink pad. You will not be able to extract the stamp without this tool. Please place the stamp back as you found it. Enjoy the tiniest letterbox you've ever seen!
