PLEASE NOTE NEW PARKING CHARGES AT KINGSBARNS BEACH. Up to 2 hours is FREE but you must obtain and display a ticket from the ticket machine to avoid a fine. 2+ hours is £2 payable by card. There is a coin slot but it appears to have been disabled. Please bear in mind that you may need to allow 2+ hours to grab all the caches in this vicinity.
Also please note that the toasted sandwich shack is now rebranded to serve burgers and hot dogs but is closed on Tuesdays even in the summer.
Chosen for the excellent views of the Kingsbarns Links Clubhouse, this cache is situated on the Fife Coastal Path with access to and lovely views of the beach. Please note this cache is NOT on the golf course but can get very busy with walkers and dog walkers on the path, also the cache location is overlooked by players on the nearby course, so please exercise discretion when searching. There is an excellent mobile signal on the bridge, so pretending to admire the views whilst consulting your phone would be an excellent diversionary tactic.
Kingsbarns beach has free parking for up to 2 hours, a picnic area, toilets and refreshments during the summer months. Dogs will enjoy this walk, but please take care not to allow them onto the golf course and use a lead if necessary.
