Welcome to Perry Farm! This letterbox has 5 virtual stops prior to the final.. but should only take you 15 minutes.. maybe more if you take time to enjoy the free petting farm.
Along the way you will be solving for the following:
N41 08.ABC W087 52.DEF
- At the posted coordinates you will find an Information Board: A= The number of letters in the second to last state visited by Thomas Durham and his brothers. B= The number of stops the brothers made in Missouri.
- From there take the path leading behind the information board, this will curve southeast landing you at a memorial for the founder of our park district. D= the number of letters in his first name.
- Continue south along the path until you reach the driveway. Turn west and walk 205 feet to the information board on your left. It is elevated by a circle of landscaping stones. C= the last digit of the year when Perry Farm became registered as a historical landmark.
- Take the path behind the information board leading between the two barns. You will immediately see a green wagon with a name painted in yellow. E= the number of letters in the persons last name.
- Finally, continue south along the path until you reach the intersection. Turn east and continue on until you come to the right hand turn. Stop at this location and face northeast. F= the number of spikes on the barn quilt.
* If solved properly you now have the final coordinates and can take the path behind you to locate the Perry Farm Letterbox. Inside the cache you will find a log to sign or stamp, as well as a tree stamper. Please leave the stamper in the cache as this is required to maintain this cache as a letterbox. Please rehide the cache out of site and replace so that nothing stands out, as this is a community park. Thank You!
