Placed as my contribution to geocaching.com Hidden Creatures geocache hunt June 27 through July 25 2018, where geocachers can earn up to 13 mythical creature souvenirs by finding geocaches and attending events.
This cache is for the Yeti souvenir awarded after finding 35 geocaches and accordingly earning 35 points.
In the folklore of Nepal, the Yeti or Abominable Snowman is an ape-like entity, taller than an average human, that is said to inhabit the Himalayan region of Nepal, Bhutan, and Tibet. The names Yeti and Meh-Teh are commonly used by the people indigenous to the region, and are part of their history and mythology.
