Life has its mysteries. Love has it mysteries. Geocaching has its mysteries. So the perfect anniversary gift? A mystery cache!! The cache is held within a Cryptex. The incredibly skillful half of the team constructed the Cryptex knowing that the other half of the team would not only be overwhelmed with the gift but then would also be prodded to create a series for its placement. Life and love is good!! This is a two part mystery cache. And, of course, the cache is not at the listed coordinates The "Hides around Highland" series will provide the necessary information to find the final location and open the Cryptex. You will need to collect letters that provide the location of the final (N 35 AB.CDE W 111 VW.XYZ) and the combination to open the Cryptex (abcdefgh) in order to obtain the cache. To open the Cryptex turn the wheels until the eight numbers acquired from the "Hides around Highland" series are in line with the two ALIGNMENT MARKS on the outer portions of the Cryptex. There is little room for error. The numbers should be in line exactly. If the Cryptex remains locked try one more thing - GENTLY wiggle the end pieces back and forth then pull them apart. There is NO NEED TO FORCE THE CRYPTEX OPEN….. if the correct code is used it should open without any problem. And, as always, HAPPY CACHING!!
