Meet a beautiful beetle that loves to eat poop. Bison patties are elixirs of nutrients for the prairie, spreading seeds, fertilizing the soil, and attracting insects such as the prosopocoilus bison beetle. Many dung beetles specialize on the dung of particular animals and simply will not touch the poop of other critters. Bison poo for me.
