Along this portion of the Contra Costa Canal Trail it might seem a little remote. Although you are in fact in between neighborhoods. You can appreciate all the nature that surrounds you on this trail. Whether it's the surrounding trees and the shade they are providing for you or a group of ducks moving along the canal trail or a flock of birds flying overhead. One of many great reasons to be outdoors. A perfect opportunity to grab a cache! You can either park on Center Avenue and walk in through that entrance or go in through the Muir Road entrance. A little bit of a walk either way but worth the exercise and worth the smiley. Happy caching!
