Several years ago cacher GeoB3a did a wonderful series of caches with the names of dinosaurs from A to Z. Since then he has dropped out of the game and most of the Dinosaur Series was archived. In honor of that series, I'm resurrecting some of the hides using the same locations and in some cases the same container.
This is the second of the "Dinos Are Back" series. This was the 1st stage of GC4AT7Q Dinosaur Series #20...Tyrannosaurus and is the original container. The container is a plastic peanut butter jar and was in great shape when I rediscovered it on June 5, 2018 after having not been found for more than a year. The inside of the container was bone dry and the baggie with the coordinates for S3 of the original cache was only a little faded. Reading the logs for the original cache will give you some idea of the epic nature of the original.
As for the revival of stage 1 as a stand-alone cache, you may park at the parking coords for Dinos Are Back #1 GC7QCB4 and follow the directions to get to that cache. Continuing on down the trail from there will get you to this one. For a shorter and less strenuous hike, you may also park at the Franklin Knolls Pool for which I've provided the coordinates. If the pool is closed, you may find parking on the nearby streets.
There is a path that goes alongside the pool fence, so at certain times there will be lots of muggles, but they won't be in sight of the cache.
