Geocache Description:


As you keep skirting the egde of the forest you will see the large Darkley Mill on your left. The mill you see now was built around 1826-1828 and once boasted the second largest water wheel in Europe at 70 feet in diameter. A decline in the linen trade saw the factory close in 1959.
