Every year during the week of Fathers Day, I and a group of friends,family and Fathers spend four to six days camping out down the road from here. We always make it a point to hike down to Holcomb Creek Falls and spend a couple of hours hanging out. It is a beautiful spot and the hike in is .24 miles (as the crow flies) but it feels more like a half mile. It's all down hill to the falls and all up hill on the way back. If you get adventurous and the water is not flowing profusely, you can scale the rocks to just below the top of the falls where you will find a nice pool and a great view...not recommended for the faint of heart. I opted to keep the cache on the down low. Enjoy your visit!
