There are three ways to reach the goat cave
1. Round trip: this will be a hike of about 6 km on mountain trails and gravel roads. You can combine this hike with the caches GC6V44E, GC5Z2GK and GC1E90B. This is the longest but most rewarding possibility.
Start at the parking coordinates N 36° 49.768 E 027° 09.449. Take the right one of the two small gravel roads leading you up to the crest. See picture "start here". There you turn left and follow the narrow trail in direction east. Your hike at the crest offers great views to both coasts - north and south. Next to cache GC6V44E you reach a gravel road that takes you to Old Pyli. There you can have a break at the local taverna and find the caches GC5Z2GK and GC1E90B. Leaving the taverna go down the steps into a small valley. Cross it and take a gravel road at the opposite side. This road leads you up to a goat farm. Some minutes later you continue at a trail in direction west that takes you near to the goat cave, where you will find the cache. From the cave you have to climb up some meters on the west side of a little steep wall. Look for the clearly visible trail - take care, might be a bit slippery. These few meters are Terrain 4. This trail leads you to the little church Agios Georgios, where you reach a gravel road that takes you back to the car.
2. From the parking coordinates to Agios Georgios and down to the cave: The last few meters before the cache might be a bit tricky. Terrain 4. Rather for experienced mountaineers. Same way back.
3. From Old Pyli to the cave and same way back. This is the easiest way.
